A pasture of horses I happened across driving home from Independence? or maybe St. Charles? Somewhere in the back hills of Minnesota. At sunset. These three were the nicest/prettiest.

A female Blanding's Turtle crosses Wabasha County Road 84 in Kellogg on June 7, 2007 after laying her eggs in the Weaver sand dunes. Every spring, usually in the first two weeks of June, nearly 1,000 of these gravid (pregnant) turtles make the mile long journey from their home in the swamps to the dunes crossing the highway that separates them. Back the first week when she was 6lbs, and slept pretty much 24/7.

A few months old now and smiley!! And, like her mom, she loves leopard print.

House Fire Cat

This was a cat that got left behind after a house fire in St. Charles, Minn. The owners eventually came back for her, which is awesome because she was a really sweet cat. And I hate cats. But she was so adorable and nice. I think I've sucessfully covered how nice the cat was. :)
